I thoroughly enjoyed this! Would you ever make another Metroidvania?

Had fun with it.  A few places I was able to sit on the edge of a spike without dying.  It can be done by neutral walljumping quickly near a spike.  There's one place on the map it can be performed reliably, but I forget where.  Shortly before the gauntlet of spike rooms near a blind drop.

Thanks for the feedback. And also thanks a lot for reporting a bug. I'll have a look at it.

A fun little game though the character felt slippery to control. Maybe add a bit more friction when stopping and turning and it would feel perfect.

I will try that out. Thanks a lot for the feedback. And thanks for playing.

fun but the checkpoints make it way too easy, i finished the whole game with 85 diamonds in 8 minutes

nice game, collected everything :-)

Well you didn't lie when you said it was challenging. This was really fun to play and I thank you for the checkpoints. The music and art style was very nice and retro and overall the game was very challenging but I really liked it! Would've liked to now how many times I died when I played the game :D

I don't know if you've heard of Game Development World Championship before (gdwc2019) but it's a competition for indie game developers where they can submit their games and it's free! It's great if you want some more visibility for the game and it only takes a couple of minutes to join :)

Great to hear this. Thanks a lot for the feedback. You should see your # of deaths (and total play time) after you collect the final potato.

I'll check out gdwc2019.

Oh okay! Thank you :D
